Lillie Mae Watts

Lillie Mae Johnson Watts, 73 years old of Ponchatoula, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, May 29, 1943. Surviving are her children, Deborah Watts Lingerfelt, Alice Watts Bardwell, Wallace "Pete" Watts, III, Thomas Watts, and Jimmie Watts; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Leon Johnson; and sister, Vera Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Watts, Jr.; parents, Fred Johnson and Clara Bell Beavers Johnson; son, Albert Watts; son-in-law, Lawrence Lee Lingerfelt; and 3 grandchildren, Shannon Tompkins, Michelle Leigh Lingerfelt, and Marissa Watts. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.harrymckneely.com.
