Lillie Anthony Stafford

Lillie Anthony Stafford  passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 67.  She was born on Thursday, May 1, 1952 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Sylerann Picou and George Anthony.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Lillie is survived by her children, Melissa Hamlet, Joyce Hernandez, Tony Hernandez and Eric Hernandez; siblings, Mary Lindsey, Jesse Soley, and Albert Anthony; grandchildren, Stephanie and Lagrant Blankenship, William and Bethany Hamlet, Steven, Kieth, Elizabeth, and T.J. Hernandez, Sherae Puma, and Savannah Hutchison; 21 great grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Hernandez, and her siblings, Annie Avants, Roy Anthony, and Becky Reynolds.

Services for Lillie will be private.
