Lillian "Tency" Reid Morse Pierre, peacefully entered heavens gates while she was surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana. She was known for her strong and immovable faith, who enjoyed attending her church and listening to her old gospel music, and was often found reading her bible and praying for anyone she could think of. Tency had a passion for cooking for her big family, her favorite dish to cook was her famous greens, which will be sorely missed. She loved spending time with her family making lasting memories that they will cherish forever. Maw Maw Tency, as she was affectionately called, always put others first, especially her grandbabies, which totaled 32 in all, and was very protective of them and the artwork they made for her. A pass time that made her heart happy was going to town to running errands and shopping with her daughter-in-law, Anita, as well as watching her favorite shows with her sidekick/granddaughter, Beth, with whom she watched Wagon Trail, Gun Smoke, the news and many others. There was never a dull moment with Maw Maw Tency, the bubblegum queen, who didn't go anywhere without her bubblegum, a smile on her face and open arms for a hug. Tency was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind her children, Leon "Lonnie" Morse (Anita), Maryellen "Gennie" Hernandez, Flynn Karl Morse (Cindy), Eric Velton "Pete" Morse (Sandy), Maryann L. Phares (Steven); grandchildren, Lonette Ramsay (Jeremy), Tucker Morse (Blair), Laney Carnegie (John), Bryanna Bessette (Clayton), Beth Guillory, Adam Hernandez, Jared Morse (Corrine), Jordan Morse (Brooklyn), Jathan Morse (Katie), Katy Miley (Wade), Erica Morse, Wade Phares (Brittney) and Aaron Phares, and Betty King (Jimmy); step-granddaughter, Rebecca Trinque Lebene (Dustin); great-grandchildren, Cayne Ramsay, Ali Ramsay, Caroline Carnegie, Libby Carnegie, Xander Bessette, Grayson Morse, Claire Morse, Elise Morse, Tanner Morse, Gray Morse, Ella Morse, Beckett Morse, Henley Morse, Asher Morse, Jeb Miley, Trace "Gibby" Miley, Silas Phares, Oakley Phares, Eli Phares; step-great-grandchildren, Joshua Trinque Labene, Alloy Trinque Labene, and Steven Pierre.
