Lillian "Lili" M. Dove

Lillian Maudilene Dove "Lili", former longtime resident of San Diego, died peacefully at home on February 25, 2025, in Independence, Louisiana. She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on October 3, 1940, to Gordon and Lillian Sterling. Lili was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a Majorette at Hoover High School where she graduated in 1958. Lili worked as a Travel Agent at North Island Naval Air Base in Coronado, CA, later to become a Bank Teller at Orange County Teachers Credit Union and finally a long-distance Truck Driver, which she loved because she said she finally for to travel the world. 

She is survived by her sister Nona Oxe, her 3 children, Laura Hodges, Kathy Osborn, and Eddie Dove.

A family memorial will be held at a later date in Independence, Louisiana.
