Lena Mae Threeton Albin

Lena Mae Threeton Albin passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at her residence in Springfield, at the age of 85.  She was born on Friday, June 12, 1931, in Springfield, to the late Mary M. Brown Threeton and the late Henry E. Threeton.  

Lena is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Laura Albin and Ronnie and Verda Albin, daughter-in-law, Brenda Albin, grandchildren, Marcy, Ricky, Tiffany, Christie, Reuben, Lena, Rachel, Shannon, Dewayne, Jesse, and Amanda, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wallace R. Albin, Sr.; father, Henry E. Threeton; mother, Mary M. Brown Threeton; son, Randolph "Randy" Albin; sisters, Margarite Ward, Winnie Mae Stansbury, and Irma Lee Threeton Rousseau Barsley, brothers, Lawless, Robert, and Rogers Threeton, and half-sister, Myrtis Thompson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, on Monday, November 28, 2016, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 8:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery in Springfield.
