Lena Mae Joiner

Lena Mae Joiner passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83.  She was born on Saturday, July 1, 1939 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Rosalie Lilly Buzetta Pellichino and the late Tony Pellichino.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Lena is survived by her sons, Johnny Joiner and his wife, Charlotte and Jeff Joiner and his wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Cody Joiner and his wife, Kacie, Corey Joiner and his wife, Lindsey, Brenna Joiner, and Eric Joiner; great-grandchildren, Autumn Joiner, Austin Joiner, Summer Joiner, and Skylar Joiner; sister, Annie Mae Herrera; and Anita Flynn Sharrock, who she loved like a daughter, and her husband John.

In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by the father of her children, John Austin Joiner, Sr.; sister, Josie Maury; niece, Patricia Maury; and nephew, Russell Maury.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, Friday, October 7, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, Saturday, October 8, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
