Lena Ethel Bouley

Lena Ethel Bouley was born April 25, 1947, in Tickfaw, LA to the late Delbert and Ida Persing. She passed away September 17, 2026, at her residence in Albany, LA. Lena was a member of First Baptist Church of Tickfaw and was a retired cook for the Albany Early Learning Center, a position she really enjoyed. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew Bouley (Tonia), and Darrell Bouley; two daughters, Crystal Bouley, and Jerilynn Sutton (James), thirteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Lawrence Bouley, and her siblings, Leroy Persing, Ezra Persing, Eunice Michelli, Fay Delvisco, Willie Persing, and Ada Chatelain. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 27, 2026, at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Tickfaw.
