Lee Roy Jones, Jr.

Lee Roy Jones Jr. passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Springfield, Louisiana, at the age of 67. He was born on Tuesday, January 27, 1959, in Independence, Louisiana, to Betty and Lee Roy Jones, Sr. He was a resident of Springfield, Louisiana.

Lee is survived by his sister, Karen Schexnayder (Ricky); brother, Michael Jones (Shannon); nieces, Cassie Schexnayder, Courtney Doiron, Nikki Casey (Jeremy), Angela Collins, and Amanda Schmiedel; nephews, Zachary Jones, Jacob Jones, Joseph Castille, David Crowson, and Hunter Anderson; great-niece, Ava Doiron; and great-nephew, Isaac Doiron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Louise Fletcher Jones and Lee Roy Jones, Sr., and sisters, Betty Covington and Nancy Anderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana 70462.
