"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
--Proverbs 31:31
Lea Synthia Schaub began her earthly journey on April 4, 1970, in San Jose, California. She was the cherished daughter of Synthia Stich Yancy and the late Robert Krippner, and the beloved eldest sister to Nathan Yancy, and Travis and Joshua Krippner.
From a young age, Lea radiated warmth, grace, and determination. She embraced life with joy, participating in ballet and proudly cheering as part of her high school’s cheerleading team. She was voted the most friendly person in her senior year. After graduating high school in California, Lea followed her ambition and moved to Louisiana to further her education at LSU, where she pursued a degree in nursing—a career that perfectly reflected her nurturing spirit and devotion to caring for others.
Lea’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Ruppert Schaub III, and a devoted mother to their five children: Scott(Jasmine), Sierra(Jordan), Trey, Tyler, and Trinity, as well as her grandchildren, Ezekiel and Dominic. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of faith, family, and service. She could often be found reading her Bible or listening to her favorite Christian music station, finding peace and inspiration in her deep and abiding faith.
On Wednesday, July 9th, Lea peacefully departed this world to be with the Lord. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
