Lea Nora David

Lea Nora David, age 28, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away at suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2021, at her home. She was born on Tuesday, June 23, 1992, in Hammond, Louisiana, to Hollis Earl David and Tina Mata-Perez. Lea enjoyed life and loved art and music, but she especially loved spending time with her family.

Lea is survived by her mother, Tina Mata-Perez, her sister, Holly Smith, her brother, Michael Mata, her grandparents, George Patecek, Jr. and Virginia Patecek, her uncles, George August Patacek, III and his wife Carol and Archie David, her aunt, Carolyn Faye David, and her cousin, Dorian Patecek, also many other loving relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hollis Earl David, her grandfather, Sonny David, her grandmother, Carol Jean Faust, her great grandmother, Lena Muscarello, and her great grandfather, George August Patecek, Sr.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Lea's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 11:00 am at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw. Interment will follow at Colonial Cemetery in Independence.
