Laura Lynn Ledet Berne

Laura Lynn Ledet Berne, of Amite, Louisiana, earned her wings on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the age of 58. She was born on September 4, 1961, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Alvin J. Ledet Sr. and Fennie Monistere Ledet. Laura was funny, hard-headed, and kind. She loved Mickey Mouse, shopping, and having fun. Her sweet smile will forever be missed.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Tasha Ellenberger (Phillip); son, Daniel Berne, Jr. (Myra); granddaughters, Kailyn, Peyton, Ivy and Cynthia; sisters, Victoria Foti (Ken), Barbara Addison (Mark), Rose Ledet Roy Whittington (Tracy), and Pam Alack (Don); brother, Alvin Ledet, Jr. (Georgina); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Berne.

Services will be held privately. Family and friends are encouraged to send condolences and share memories online.

Laura will be laid to rest at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
