In Loving Memory of Larry Puma
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Larry Puma, a cherished father, devoted husband, loving grandfather, and beloved brother, who departed from our midst on May 27th, 2024. Larry's journey through life was one marked by love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and passions.
Larry was a man of many virtues, but above all, he was a loving husband to his beloved wife, a devoted father to his children, a loyal brother to his siblings and a caring grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and his unwavering love and support knew no bounds. His presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering, and his kindness touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He also had a way of filling up the room with his heartfelt laughter.
One of Larry's greatest joys in life was fishing at his camp, on the Tickfaw River. Whether he was casting his line into tranquil waters or sharing stories of past adventures with fellow enthusiasts, Larry found solace and contentment in the simplicity of nature's beauty. His passion for fishing was infectious, and he passed on his love for the sport to his children, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Larry cherished his visits to the casino where he bonded with his sisters and brother-in-law. Creating lasting memories was a priority when he traveled with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His passion for music was evident as he sang and played guitar with his grandkids. Gardening and tending to his fruit trees and vegetables brought him immense satisfaction. An avid follower of Fox News, LSU, the Saints, science fiction movies, Life 360 and the History channel, Larry was the person to update you on current events, particularly the weather. He shared his enthusiasm for mustangs and even earned several trophies with his beloved friend, “Bulldog”.
Larry's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light, illuminating our path with the memories of his love and the lessons of his life.
In honoring Larry's memory, let us cherish the time we shared, hold dear the love he bestowed upon us, and find comfort in the knowledge that he now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him.
Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love will endure forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his presence.
