Lanell "Tony" L. Landry

Lanell "Tony" L. Landry passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at the age of 93. He was born on December 1, 1927, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Telesmar and Beatrice LeBlanc Landry.

Tony was a U.S. Army veteran, an active member in the Knights of Columbus and American Legion, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Tony is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Barry T. Landry, Sr. and Linda Landry, daughter, Darlene M. Landry Shelton, and son, Michael D. Landry; three grandchildren, Barry "Beezie" T. Landry, Jr. (Jenny), Robert J. Landry (Sarah), and Candace C. Kinchen; and four great-grandchildren, Reese, Carter, Lily, and Baron Landry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Parker Landry; parents, Telesmar and Beatrice LeBlanc Landry; sister and brother-in-law Loris and Donald Gautreau; and grandson, David M. Landry.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 8:30 am until 10:30 am, followed by the funeral procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, for the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Paul McDuffie officiating.

Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.  Family requests that unvaccinated guests please wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph Church Knights of Columbus Council #4874.
