Lance M. Husser, age 41 left his troubles behind on February 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on January 29, 1983, in Covington, Louisiana.  Lance was known for his goofy, straight up, heart of gold, and out of the box personality.  He never met a stranger, got along with everyone, and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.  When it came to work or projects, he was considered OCD or a perfectionist and gave 100 percent effort every time, especially when it came to keeping his car clean and detailed.  He could often be found jamming to his favorite music, riding 4-wheelers through the mud, or rooting for the Bulls.  Lance was a family man through and through, he loved his nephews immensely and loved spending time with his family whenever he could.   

He leaves behind his parents, Brenda Mulkey (Wayne), Johnny Husser (Jo); siblings, Candy Ashburn, Lacey Husser, Mark Husser; step-brother, Michael King; nephews, Jace and Connor Strickland; step-nephews, Brit, Cadin, and Davin King; Paw Paw, Louis "Buddy" Meyers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Lance joined his precious nephew, Karson Husser; and his grandparents, Sam and Estelle Bankston, Alberta H. Meyers, and Marvin T. Husser in heaven.

Family and friends are invited to Lance's Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
