Kip Romalice Carpenter

Kip Romalice Carpenter, of Albany, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born on October 26, 1965, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of Bo and Shirley Carpenter. Kip was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother.

Kip is survived by his father, Vernon Romalice "Bo" Carpenter; daughters, Haley Lucia Carpenter, Chasidy La'Rie Carpenter, and Kasey Lache' Carpenter; grandchildren, Karmine Williams, Dominic Hayno, Anthony Williams, and Devin Hayno; sisters, Sheila Morris (Tim) and Gwen Purvis (Jackie); longtime girlfriend, Cynthia Hawthorne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Wagner Carpenter; grandson, Elijah Davis; and nephew, Blane Purvis.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Blood River Baptist Church Cemetery in Albany, Louisiana.
