Kimberly Ann Crapanzano Inman

Kimberly Ann Crapanzano Inman, of Hammond, Louisiana, was reunited with our Heavenly Father on June 19th after a long and well-fought battle with brain cancer.

She was born to Mona (Starkey) and Dr. Lee Crapanzano on July 7, 1978 where she became a member of the Holy Ghost Parish family at birth. Kimberly attended Holy Ghost Catholic School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Upon finishing her degree with honors in education at Southeastern, she served as a 5th and 6th grade history teacher at Holy Ghost Catholic School for 14 years. During that time, Kimberly fell in love with teaching and each of her many students. She later taught theology at St. Thomas Aquinas for 2 years, a perfect fit for someone with her strong faith. “Mrs. Inman” was known by her students for her kindness, compassion, silly stories, and joyful demeanor. 

Most notably though, Kimberly was a loving wife and mother. She married her high school sweetheart, Craig Inman, on December 28th, 1996, and their love affair lasted until her last breath. Together she and Craig raised two amazing women, Dr. Alexis “Ally” Inman and Lily Inman, both of whom have proven themselves just as kind, compassionate, and strong as their mother. 

Other individuals whose lives were deeply touched by Kimberly include her sister, Dr. Becca Crapanzano Bartles, her future son-in-law Dylan Dawson, and long-time friends Jacob Authement, Jenny Silbernagel, Lamar DePaula, Julie Ponder, and Emily Wagner. 

Family and friends will be received at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Thursday at 11:00 am, with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina officiating.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
