Kermit Earl Griffin Sr.

Kermit Earl Griffin, Sr. passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Wesson, Mississippi, at the age of 74. He was born on Monday, February 6, 1950 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Joyce and Joseph Griffin. He was a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Kermit is survived by his Children, Theresa Spell Long, Wendy Gail Griffin, Kermit Earl Griffin, Jr. and wife Jessica; daughter-in-law, Carol Spell; grandchildren, Robin, Allen, Daniel, Jacob, Cody, Caleb, Cheyenne, Jasmine, Beth, Novalee, Mason, Noah, Joseph and Cassie; great-grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Oriana, Liddian, Walker, Nika, Amos and Payton, siblings, and Joseph and Ronnie Griffin and Shirley McLin.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Griffin, son, Douglas Allen Spell Jr.; parents, Joyce and Joseph Griffin; and siblings, Frank and Jimmy Griffin and Evelyn Harrell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Harry McKneely &Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St, Ponchatoula, LA 70454, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 11:00 am until the Celebration of Life Service begins at 1:00 pm. 

Interment will follow in Freedom House Church Cemetery, Covington, Louisiana.
