Kenneth "Kenny" James Truxillo

Kenneth "Kenny" James Truxillo, 53 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge with his family by his side.He was born on Wednesday, December 30, 1964, in Metairie, Louisiana to Prejean and Joan Campo Truxillo. Kenny was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponchatoula for over 12yrs. He was an active member of the Ponchatoula Lion’s Club for over 17 yrs. Kenny enjoyed life and loved fishing, woodworking, building houses, his faith in God and reading the Bible, but he especially loved spending time with his family. 

Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Toya Bullock Truxillo, his son, Matt Truxillo, his mother, Joan Campo Truxillo, his sisters, Theresa Templet and her husband Wade, Claire Shockley and her husband Ed and Janice Beaumont and his aunt, Sister Francesca, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Kenny is preceded in death by his father, Prejean Truxillo and his brother, Daniel Truxillo, Sr. 

A Memorial Visitation for Kenny will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula. A Memorial Mass Celebrating Kenny's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00am at the church. The Entombment of Kenny’s cremains will immediately follow at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, 5604 Hwy 308, Plattenville, Louisiana.
