Kenneth "Greg" Gregory Perrin

Kenneth "Greg" Gregory Perrin passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 72.  He was born on Sunday, December 4, 1949 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Gwendolyn Eileen Mixon Perrin and the late Kenneth Paul Perrin.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Greg served his country in the United States Air Force and was a proud veteran. After the military, he worked as a contractor, an electrician, and ultimately a state licensed building inspector until his retirement.  Greg never forgot a birthday and loved to play golf. Though he never had children of his own, he was happy to be a "grandfather" to his many nieces and nephews, who were his greatest joy in life.

Greg is survived by his siblings, Eileen Brannon and her husband, Gregory, Darrell Perrin and his wife, Stephanie, Barry Perrin and his wife Marquerite, and Sandra Hutches and her husband, Phillip; nieces, Heather Perrin, Tori Recotta, Brooke Perrin, Savannah Perrin, Darian Perrin, Maddison Hawkins, and Allie Hutches; nephews, Brandon Perrin, Brian Brannon, Jason Recotta, Hayden Hutches, and Hayden Hawkins; great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail, Ashlyn, Trent, Lily, Lyla, Kora, Auden, Isla, Maximo, and Millie; aunts, Sue Mixon and Blanche Gibson; uncle, Frank Mixon; and best friend and uncle, Milton Hill.

In addition to his parents, Greg was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Perrin; and his niece, Ashley Perrin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.  

Interment will follow in Howes Family Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
