Kenneth "Clinton" Stevens

Kenneth “Clinton” Stevens passed away peacefully at his home with family at his bedside on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 85. He was born on Thursday, September 12, 1935 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Volena Harper Stevens and the late Floyd Stevens. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Clinton was a retired dairy farmer of over 65 years who loved the life he lived. He served in the National Guard for nine years. In his later years of life, he spent time riding the four-wheeler and checking his beef cattle. Clinton was married to his loving and devoted wife, Ida White Stevens, for 53 years.

Clinton is survived by his long-time friend, Lillie Joyce Miller; son, Rodney Stevens (Phyllis); daughter, Tracy Inkenbrandt (Van); grandchildren, Shai, Josh, Sheila, Brody, Kayla, Keith, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Presleigh, Kendall, Weston, and Cole; sister-in-law, June Stevens.

In addition to his parents, Clinton is also preceded in death by his wife, Ida White Stevens; sister, Hermine Gottschalck; and his brothers, Raymond and Hulon Stevens.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will be continue on Monday, January 4, 2021, from 1:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Stevens Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
