Kenneth "Kenny" G. Adams

Kenneth "Kenny" G. Adams, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 28, 1943, to the late Eugene and Cecelia Adams, in Hammond, LA. Kenny was a carpenter by trade but thoroughly enjoyed serving his community as a Deputy Sheriff with Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffs Office. He collected and traded all kinds of guns and knives throughout the years. Kenny would eat tomatoes all day if he could, usually with just a little salt and pepper made his day. Mr. Kenny and his buddies, Owen Neal and David LeSage, could often be found drinking community coffee, solving the worlds problem, catching up and telling old stories from the good old days. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed the quiet water, sound of the reel spinning as he watched his bait fly through the air, which is more than likely where he is right now in heaven. If anyone needed a solid prayer, Mr. Kenny was your man, they may have been long enough prayers to make the food cold but they surely warmed the hearts of those he was praying over.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Billie Hardin Adams; children, Donnie Adams (Bridget) and Sondra Bordelon (Bruce); grandchildren, Kali Ronquille (Mark), Hannah Wilson (Brandon), Hayden Bordelon, and Memphis Bordelon; great-grandchildren, Madden Ronquille, Bennett Wilson, Maui Ronquille, Haizlyn Ronquille, Parker Wilson, and Rogan Ronquille.

Preceding him in death were his daughter, Angela Paige Adams; parents, Eugene and Cecelia Adams; siblings, Doris Nickens, Ray Adams, Melvin Adams, Bobby Adams, Jerry Adams, Sue Morgan, and an infant sister, Thelma Jean Adams.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Kenny's visitation on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Pumpkin Center.
