Kelvin Xavier Lacoste, Jr.

Kelvin Xavier Lacoste Jr., of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson, on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the age of 47. He was born on Friday, March 14, 1975, in Metairie, Louisiana.

Kelvin was currently working as a service writer for Ross Downing Chevrolet. He was passionate for the outdoors, loved fishing, camping, and hunting.  He was a firearm enthusiast.  He progressed to a Glock Advanced Armorer.  He loved building, repairing firearms, and educating others on all aspects of firearm usage.  He perfected his performance to shoot in firearms competitions.  He also really enjoyed excursions with the Jeep Club.

Kelvin is survived by his parents, Kelvin Lacoste and Terry Bellow Lacoste, daughter, Isabelle Lacoste, son, Nathaniel Lacoste, sister and brother-in-law, Kristine Lacoste Darwin and Chris Darwin.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am, with Fr. Robert Merced officiating.
