Kelvin Edward Foster, Jr.

Kelvin Edward Foster, Jr. was born February 22, 1956, in Independence, LA, to the late Kelvin Edward Foster, Sr. and Gloria Bourgeois Silverthorne. He passed away October 26, 2024, in Hammond, LA. He was a resident of Ponchatoula and a retired bricklayer. Kelvin is survived by his wife, Verna Meyn Foster; daughters, Georgette Corbin, and Kimberly Hollie, and husband, Hank Hollie, Sr.; son, George Ronnie Corbin, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler Corbin, and wife, Alyssa Corbin, Chelsea Corbin, Madison Prine, MaKayla Prine, Hank Hollie, Jr., Hunter Hollie, Katie Hollie, Gavin Corbin, Lane Corbin, and Blake Boudreaux; great grandchildren, Norah Corbin, Magnolia Corbin, Adalee Corbin, and Andrew Brewer, Jr.; sisters, Judy Hill, Frances Seay, Becky Foster, and Bridgette Foster. In addition to his parents, Kelvin is preceded in death by a brother, Danny Foster. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Gary Quave. Interment will follow in Loranger Cemetery.
