Kelly Joe Dykes

Kelly Joe Dykes passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 42.  He was born on Wednesday, February 2, 1977 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Barbara Dykes and the late Walter Dykes.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Kelly is survived by his daughter, Lillyan Grace; sisters, Lisa White, Kim Cannon, Krystal Hill, and Shannon Ordeneaux; Foster Parents, Bobby and Joann Powell; foster siblings, Brian Powell, Barry Powell Sr., and Beverly Powell Lemoine; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kelly was also preceded in death by his sister, Shelly Lynn Dykes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, beginning at 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
