Kathie Tassin LeBlanc

Kathie Tassin LeBlanc,the daughter of the late Stanley and Laura Tassin, daughter-in-law of Ulee and Shirley LeBlanc. Born on November 22, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Steven T. LeBlanc, and together they shared a life filled with love, family, and laughter.

Kathie was a devoted mother to Melissa LeBlanc and Duane LeBlanc (Sherie), and a cherished grandmother to Samantha Davis (Aidan), Drake Ferry (Giselle), and Michael LeBlanc. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother.

She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Martinolich, with whom she shared a deep bond, and her husband's siblings, Donald LeBlanc (Ruby), Sandra Provensal (the late Rick), and Susan Elsensohn (Glenn), all of whom she held dear.

Kathie's love for New Orleans was infectious; she was even a member of the first New Orleans Saints dance team, a proud symbol of her spirit and dedication to her hometown. She will be remembered as a fighter filled with grace, and her unwavering love for her family.

A private ceremony celebrating her life will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Scleroderma Foundation.

Kathie Tassin LeBlanc's legacy lives on through her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
