Kathie Jo Curry Hutcheson

Kathie Jo Curry Hutcheson  passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 59. She was born on Tuesday, December 16, 1958 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Kathie Jo's main interest was Karate and she was a member of the Japan Karate Association for 45 years. She enjoyed being around her Karate family and going to Karate camps all over the world. Learning from her Sensei, she was very determined and strong minded, which led her to receive her Black Belt. Kathie was also a member of The Northshore Mustang Club.

Kathie leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Robert James Hutcheson Sr. and one son, Robert James Hutcheson and his wife Carla. She is also survived by her mother, Maxine Morris Curry; brother, Mike Curry and his wife Kathy; nephews, Joe and Ben; grandsons Robert Michael Hutcheson and Jordan Milton; and her entire loving family

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Curry.

All family and friends will be notified by the Hutcheson Family of a Celebration of Life for Kathie Jo, to be held at a later date.
