June Breeland Hutchinson

June Breeland Hutchinson, 90, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed peacefully with her family by her side, on August 3, 2024. She was born July 5,1934, the daughter of the late Columbus and Mary Bailey Breeland. She was a strong, faith centered woman, who valued her family; a great friend to many. June had a profound love of cooking, especially homegrown vegetables from the field that she and her late husband, Ray, took great pride in. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and beloved cat, Buttons, were her pride and joy. June was a lifelong member of Blood River Church of God in Springfield. Friends and family were always welcomed into her home and often found their way to visit at her kitchen table for “coffee time” at 9 AM and 3 PM, where countless stories were shared, and many memories made. 

June is survived by her two children; son, Dwight Hutchinson and wife Susie; daughter, Angela Varnado and husband Bill; four grandchildren, Clint Winburn (Lacy), Nadine Robin (Paul), Nicole Wall (Luke), Jessica Puissegur (Nick Archer); and twelve great grandchildren, Payton Bonvillian; Kathrine, Claire, and Zachary Robin; Daniel, Bailey, and Noah Wall; Braylon Varnado; Ally and Macy Puissegur, and Kye and Kolston Archer. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 68 years, Ray Hutchinson, and two grandchildren, Emily Winburn Robichaux and Alan Varnado. 

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jesse Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana. 

Pallbearers will be Paul Robin, Luke Wall, Daniel Wall, Clint Winburn, Bret Gasperecz, and Nick Archer. Honorary Pallbearers are Zachary Robin, Payton Bonvillian, Braylon Varnado, Noah Wall, Kye and Kolston Archer.
