June H. Dixon

June H. Dixon, age 59, of Albany, Louisiana, passed away at on Monday,April 20, 2020, at home with her husband Glenn by her side. She was born on Thursday, May 12, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to William John and Elizabeth Ida Born Heimel. June was a member of St. James Catholic Church in New Orleans for many years until Katrina when she moved to Albany and became a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. June owned and operated JD Crafts in St. Bernard for several years. She enjoyed life and loved floral designing,gardening, arts, and crafts, but she especially loved all her fur babies.  

June is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Glenn Dixon and her fur babies, Itsy, Fluffy and Beagley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William John and Elizabeth Ida Born Heimel and her fur babies, Minnie, Taffy Girl, Poochie Dog and Stoffie. 

At this time services will be private. When gatherings can continue a Celebration of Life for June will be scheduled in her honor.
