Welborn, June Elizabeth

June was born June 24, 1936, in New Orleans, LA to the late John and Hazel McKinney Courouleau.  She passed away January 24, 2021, in Hammond, LA at the age of 84.  A homemaker, June was a lover of music and plants, and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In her younger years, she loved to dance.

She is survived by her children, Guy Lobre (Dee), Kim Trahan (Daniel), and Kerry Spatafora (Sal);  stepsons, Bobby, Stephen and Michael Welborn; brother,  Al Courouleau; sisters, Jaydeen Giannobile, Jeanette McClary, and Jeanine Whittington; grandchildren, Blake, Alan, Suiki, Melissa, Danielle, Ryan, Ariane, Dawn, and Stanley; great grandchildren,  Blake, Jr., Mikah, Ian, Ava, Araina, Grayson, Drew, Penny, Omri, Amos, Paxton, and Ashton; and great great grandchildren, Liam, Mckinzy, and Skye.  She is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Welborn; sisters, Janice, Debbie, and Joan; and a brother, John.  

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Ponchatoula Cemetery conducted by Jimmy Giannobile.
