Julius "J Boy" Warren Wall, Sr.

Julius "J Boy" Warren Wall, Sr. passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 75.  He was born on Thursday, December 18, 1941 in Springfield, Louisiana to the late Evelyn Vicknair Wall and Henry L. Wall.  He was a lifelong resident of Springfield, Louisiana and a current resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  J Boy was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1077.

Julius is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Faye Ratcliff Wall; his daughter, Velvet Wall Stanga and her husband, Thomas; son, Julius "Jay" Wall, II. and his wife, Becky; siblings, Minnie W. Patterson, Jack Wall, Ruth Dufreche, Sam Wall, Doris Decota, and Linda Fendleson; granddaughter, Jennifer Kemp, grandson, Julius "Lil' Jay" Wall, III, granddaughter, Lauren Wall, and grandson, Justin D. Stanga and his wife Magahn; and great grandson, Cole D. Stanga.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn V. and Henry L. Wall; and siblings, Winnie Smiley, Florence Patterson, Dennis "Tinker" Wall, Erwin "Tude" Wall, Gene Wall, and Allen "Dick" Wall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Woodland Baptist Church, 27929 Hwy 1037, Springfield, Louisiana 70462, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, LA from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue at Woodland Baptist Church on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until the service time of 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield, Louisiana.

Serving as Pallbearers are Alan Wall, Nathan Wall, Chris Wall, Chad Wall, Darryl Freeman, and Chris Ratcliff.  Honorary pallbearers will be Julius "Lil' Jay" Wall, III. and Thomas A. Stanga.

Donations may be made to the Woodland Baptist Church Building Fund, in memory of J Boy.
