Julie Ann Bordelon

Julie A. Bordelon, age 84, peacefully went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born on November 19, 1939, in Natchez, Mississippi to the late Connie Hemphill and Maggie Hemphill Halford. Julie enjoyed cooking, going shopping, listening to music, and watching her westerns. She also could be found at the casino on the slots machine when she got the chance. Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friends to all who knew her and will be deeply missed. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bruce Bordelon Sr.; children, Tonni Bode, Joseph Bordelon (Glenda), Bruce Bordelon Jr.(Sondra), and Jackqueline Billings (David); along with 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her children, Billy Tisdale and Billie Tisdale; and her parents, Maggie L. Halford and Connie L. Hemphill.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, Ponchatoula.
