Juanita Costanza

Juanita Costanza, of Independence, Louisiana, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the age of 52. She was born on Monday, October 16, 1967, in Independence, Louisiana.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Joseph Costanza Jr.; mother, Mary Saragusa; daughter, Venesia Brooks Lawrence, daughter & son-in-law, Cari and Derek Short, son, Kevin Costanza; siblings, Marilyn Saragusa (Guy), Alvin "Bubba" Brooks Jr. (Nina), George "Peanut" Brooks (Cathy), Karilynne "Kitty" Carter, Tommy Brooks (Kristie) and Rosa Franklin (Kaleb); grandchildren, Paisley, Gavon, Rhaylee, Brayde, Lola, Jessie, Sophia and Larry.

She was preceded in death by her father, August Saragusa, her birth father Alvin Brooks, Sr.; son-in-law, Jason Lawrence; grand parents, Viola Hennis Kyzar and Albert Kyzar, Sr.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 12:00 am until 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 2:00p.m..

Interment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
