Joyce Murray Hansen

Joyce Newman Murray Hansen, passed away at Landmark of Baton Rouge on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the age of 73. She was born on October 28, 1946, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Wallace and Katherine Newman. Joyce was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints in Baton Rouge.

Joyce is survived by her children, Debbey of Louisiana, Kellie of Louisiana, Katie of California, Dori of Montana, Gin of Louisiana, David, Jr. of Utah, and Melissa of Utah; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Punkin, Ricky and Robbie; former husband, David Murray, Sr.; husband, Tim Hansen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce  was preceded in death by 2 brothers.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Garden in Hammond, Louisiana.
