Joyce Diane Kemp

Joyce Diane Kemp, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 52. Joyce loved her family dearly and she held a special affection for her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Beyond family, Joyce had a profound love for animals, particularly her beloved dog, Angel. A person of simple pleasures, Joyce enjoyed taking pictures with her family, watching Christmas movies, listening to music, and playing games on her phone. She also loved nature-especially red birds and hummingbirds. Though she may no longer be with us, her memories will continue to shine brightly.

Joyce is survived by her siblings, Brian E. Kemp and his wife Joyce, Karen Kemp, and Tracie Wall; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Amy, Sissy, Brittini, Jessica, Buck, Dexter, Danny, and Josh; numerous great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary Kemp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Mart "Bud" McKinney Jr.; brothers, Simpson Aloise Kemp IV, Allen Dale Kemp, and Terry Lee Kemp; and brothers-in-law, Claude Griffen and Dennis Wall Sr.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will begin on Friday at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private at Helen's Haven in Springfield, Louisiana.
