Joyce Toney Easley

Joyce Toney Easley, of Independence, passed away peacefully at North Oaks Medical Center, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born March 12, 1934, in Independence, the daughter of the late Henry and Opal Bennett Toney. Joyce is survived by her children, Donna Easley Chavers (Jackie), Cindy Easley Schumacher, Randy Easley (Gail), and Ray Easley (Darla); grandchildren, Stephanie, Kimberly, Rhesha, Blake, Chassidy, Dustin, Trampus, and Farrah; and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Easley, son, Marc Easley; grandson, Douglas Shockley, and her siblings, Beulah Hoover, Pat Cleveland, Helen Brasso, and John Henry Toney. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to all of the family and friends who have helped assist in her care in her time of need. Memorial service at Oak Gove Church of Christ, 16693 Hwy. 40, Independence, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
