Joyce Delaughter Manton Lumley

Joyce Delaughter Manton Lumley, 87, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her home in Slidell. She was born in Ponchatoula on September 23, 1934. Joyce loved to square dance with her beloved Tammany Twirlers, to compete in mall walking, and to travel.

Joyce was the mother of Jeff Manton (wife, Cindy), Ramona Incardona (husband, Tony), and Trish Hilton; stepmother of Timothy G. Lumley (wife, Connie); grandmother of Brandon Manton, Sean Manton, Christina Incardona, David Anderson, and Christian Anderson; step-grandmother of Michael and Robert Lumley; great-grandmother of Mark Anderson, Xander Anderson, and Willow Anderson; and sister of Andrew Gasaway and Oscar Delaughter.

Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeff C. Manton and last husband, Donald "Pete" Lumley.

The family would like to recognize the staff of Notre Dame Hospice for their kindness and send special thanks for the exceptional care given to Joyce on the final walk of her life's journey.

A Graveside Service will be held at Ponchatoula Cemetery, Highway 22 @ I-55, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 am, with Randy Ray officiating.

Service arrangements entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond & Ponchatoula.
