Joshua Schofield Strickland Jr., of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born on Tuesday, May 7, 1940, in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
Joshua is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Melanie  and Jerry McClain, step-daughter, Melissa Hanna Bryant, step-daughter, Monica Hanna Young, grandchildren, Taylor McClain and Rebecca McClain, grandchildren, Hanna Bryant Darouse, Hayden S. Bryant, Parker H. Young, great-grandchild, Kayson W. Darouse, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews,.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Robinson Strickland, parents, Josh Sr. and Martha Strickland, siblings, Virginia Karnes, Jaunita Manning, John Strickland, Betty Deloach and Roger Strickland.
