Joshua Paul Cox

Joshua Paul Cox, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at the age of 48. He was born on December 28, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Joshua worked in the restaurant business for over 25 years. At one time he supervised four Popeyes restaurants in the Baton Rouge area. He loved to cook and ride motorcycles. He had also been a member of BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), a cause for which he was very passionate about.

Although Joshua had no natural children of his own, he is survived by a step daughter, Erin Beaver, who he loved dearly.  

Joshua is also survived by his father Alvin Boyd Cox, his mother Rebecca Parsons Cox, two  brothers, Jacob Lee Cox, his wife Leah Bryn Cox,  Channing Palmer Boyd Cox, and his wife Sally Efferson Cox, one nephew, Ashton Palmer Cox, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Frances Cox, and Ernest and Mary Violet Parsons.
