Josephine Piediscalzo Graziano

Josephine Piediscalzo Graziano passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 100.  She was born on Friday, October 15, 1920 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Frances Carderara Piediscalzo and Joseph Piediscalzo.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Josephine is survived by her daughter, Anna Mae Haydel, and her husband, Herbert; son, Wayne Graziano, and his wife, Rosemarie; grandchildren, Stephanie H. Westholz, and her husband, Thad; Laurie H. Berzas, and her husband, Joe; Jennifer H. Carter, and her husband, Bert; Melanie G. Johnson, and her husband, Brett; and Brandon Graziano, and his wife, Amanda; her sister, Mary Culotta; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Josephine was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam Graziano, Jr.; her brothers, Chris, Frank, Sam, Philip, Joe, and Johnny; her sister, Mary Ann Coates; and her grandson-in-law, Ben Acunzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana, 70401, on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A funeral mass will follow the visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning at 11:00 AM.  

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
