Joseph Thomas Woods, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the age of 61. He was born on Sunday, April 2, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tammy Hollingsworth Woods, daughter, Lisa Short (Mark), daughter, Jammie  Ross (Matt), daughter, Brittany Woods, daughter, Holly  Sheldon, grandchildren, Christopher, Ada, Hayden, Mark Jr., Alyssa, Bryce, Jalyn, Jeramie, Dakota, Justin, Michael, Brayden, Jaden, Kaden,, Jacelyn, Charla, Cardin and Gage, sisters, Rita Wells (Danny), Mildred Smith (John), Brenda Murphy, and Cheryl Woods, brothers, Phillip Woods (Charlotte), and Dale Woods (Selena), mother-in-law, Hazel Hill.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Lynn Woods, parents, Edward Thomas Woods and  Charlotte Taylor Woods, brother, Keith Woods, sister, Debra Woods, father-in-law, Willie J. Hollingsworth, step-mother, Margaret Woods.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
