Joseph "Joey" Paul Richardson

Joseph "Joey" Paul Richardson, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, gained his angel wings in Beaumont, TX on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the age of 22. He was born on Sunday, April 29, 2001, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of Kevin Richardson and Sophia Niehaus.
Joey loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an amazing mechanic, specializing in motorcycles. 

Joey is survived by his father, Kevin Richardson, mother, Sophia Niehaus, grandparents, Larry and Lynne D. Caldwell, brother, Rudy Wagner, sister, Christie Mahen, sister, Kelley McBunch, great-grandmother, Shirley Brunies, uncle, Michael Richardson, aunt, Lena Lavine, and numerous cousins and other family members.

Family and friends will be received at the First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula, 325 E. Pine St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. 

A Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula, on Friday at 11:00 am, with Rev. Robert Parkin and Dr. David Cranford officiating.

Interment will follow at Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
