Joseph "Jake" Pierre Arretteig Jr.

Joseph "Jake" Pierre Arretteig Jr., age 95 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on Sunday, July 22, 1923, in Amelia, Louisiana, to Joseph Pierre, Sr. and Emilie Domingue Arretteig.

Jake is survived by his sons, Johnny Arretteig and his wife Joan and Joseph Paul Arretteig and his wife Ellen, his daughter, Elaine Overmier and her husband John, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Pierre, Sr. and Emilie Domingue Arretteig, his 3 brothers and a sister.

A Graveside Service Celebrating Jake's Life will be held on February 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at Ponchatoula Cemetery where we will bury his cremains.
