Joseph George Agnello

Joseph George Agnello, of Independence, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the age of 71. He was born on August 15, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Sam Agnello and the Mary Graziano Agnello.

Joe is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lena Armato Agnello; daughter, Kimberly Agnello Dobraska and husband Jason; grandson, Lance Crawford; brothers, Michael Agnello and wife Valerie, and Salvador Agnello; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Ciro Agnello.

Family and friends will be received at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442 Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am.

Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
