John Jeffery Pirritano passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at his Home in Robert, Louisiana, at the age of 41. He was born on Sunday, November 25, 1984 in Jefferson Parish in New Orleans, Louisiana to Virginia “Ginger” Brumfield Pirritano and John “Jack” Michael Pirritano.
John “Jeff” lived most of his life in Avondale, Louisiana before making permanent resident in Robert, Louisiana. John “Jeff” loved to ride motorcycles (He has/owns a 1974 Harley Davidson Bike his Father "Jack" handed down to Him, that he was restoring) and John “Jeff” loved to ride four-wheelers with his boys, TJ & John.
His hobbies were collecting Guns and Knives. His passion was building & sitting by fires with his boys & taking the boys fishing. Who his Boys brought him much Endless Happiness and Pride. In other pass times, in “HIS” relaxing time (lounging around in his "Red Hugh Hefner Robe" with his slippers, LOL) for himself, was he loved watching Action Movies.
He will be remembered as a Strong Man with a Gentle Heart, whose Love and Kindness touched “EVERYONE” around him. Who gave selflessly to those around him, always putting his family first and creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and kindness. True Love ran Deep within his heart & soul for his family, especially his boys, Timothy “TJ” & John “Johnny.
John "Jeff" is survived by his Wife, Joy Galy-Pirritano; Sons, Timothy John "TJ" Pirritano & John "Johnny" Michael Galy; Mother, Virginia "Ginger" Brumfield-Pirritano; Sisters, Tyleda Hope Hartman (Frankie) & Michelle Nichole "Nikki" Pirritano (Lee); Uncle, Tommy Brumfield from Robert; Uncle Jim Pirritano and Aunt Lynn Eckert, both of Buffalo, New York; Mother-in-Law, Dana Wilderoder (Late Tim); Sister-in-laws Angel (Wil) & Amber (James-Pooda), numerous Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. All of whom will continue to Honor John “Jeff” memory and carry his LOVE forward.
John "Jeff" was preceded in death by his beloved Father, John “Jack” Michael Pirritano, Brother, Chaz Allen Brumfield, his sister, Faith Nicole, Aunt-Georgiana “Georgie” Brumfield-Forrest & Uncle-Robert “Pete” Brumfield.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.
