John Stonewall Majesty Jr.

John Stonewall Majesty Jr, passed peacefully at his home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana on February 17, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. A private family service will be held to honor his memory. 

Mr. Majesty was born on October 25th, 1950, in Independence, Louisiana to Mary Ann Hano Majesty and John Stonewall Majesty Sr. He had a successful career as a carpenter and served his country as a United States Marine. He was preceded in death by his one and only, Rose Mary Majesty, who he married on January 15th of 1971, as well as his siblings; Olivia Smith, Jesse Joseph Majesty Sr and Robert Lee Majesty Sr. 

He is survived by two beautiful children, John Stonewall Majesty III and Tiffany Lynn Majesty Cochran; Husband, Brian William Cochran. " As well as his granddaughter, Shelby Rose Horton, and Siblings, Mary Ann Giovingo, Patricia Crawford and John Phillip Majesty. 

He lived as a hard working man and dedicated husband and father whose life was dedicated to God. His interests included working on small engines, fishing, working in his shop and watching movies with his family. He enjoyed his quiet time, sitting at the table with his coffee and bible. He also had a very deep love for his westerns and music, spending his time singing and playing his guitar.
