John Charles Kytle passed away suddenly on July 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and simple pleasures.
John was born and raised in River Ridge, Louisiana, and was a proud graduate of East Jefferson High School in Metairie, Louisiana. He spent the last 21 years as a resident of Purvis, Mississippi. A dedicated and hardworking businessman, he was the proud owner and operator of All Around Septic Tank Cleaning and Mr. Rooter Plumbing, both located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
John was a man who found true joy in the quiet comforts of life and had a deep love for the outdoors. He possessed a great passion for hunting, fishing, and gardening, and took immense pride in raising hunting dogs. An avid sports fan, he always looked forward to sitting down to watch his favorite football teams on TV.
Above all else, John cherished his family and absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was truly happiest when he could come home, tend to his garden, and go fishing.
John is survived by his devoted partner of 36 years, Candace Stewart Ladner; his loving daughter, Gabrielle; his biological children John C Lee (Jessica Lee) and Ashlea McKenzie (Jason McKenzie) and his cherished grandchildren, Ja'kayden, Kellan, Kailan, Kalani. Bentley and Rowen Lee and Nate, Silas, HensleyJed, and Shephard McKenzie. He is also survived by his brother, James "Jimmy" Kytle of River Ridge, and his beloved nephews, Johnny Mancuso, Jr. and Bradley Mancuso of Metairie, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, the late James Arlin Kytle Jr.and the late Shirley Braem Kytle, both of River Ridge, Louisiana, as well as his sisters, the late Pamela Kytle Mancuso and the late Linda Kytle, both of Metairie, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
