John Allen Felder

John Allen Felder, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1950, in Springfield, Louisiana.

John retired as a diesel mechanic in the marine industry.
He loved deer hunting and the river, he had a real passion for hunting deer in the swamp.

John is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, John David and  Donna Felder, daughter & son-in-law, Gina and Jason Cook, son & daughter-in-law, Joseph and Whitney Felder; sister, Kathleen Sowell (Ray); grandchildren, Brice Brown (Shelby), Wyatt Felder (Amber), Tori Felder, Korie Johnson, Jack Cook, Colson and Chance; brother's-in-law, Kenneth Dupuy (Sylvia), Eric Dupuy (Betsy) and Todd Dupuy (Hope).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Dupuy Felder; parents, R.Q. Petie Felder and  Alice Smiley Felder; sister, Irma Secrest, an infant sister and an infant brother.

Family and friends will be received at Woodland Baptist Church, 27929 Hwy 1037, Springfield, Louisiana 70462 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Woodland Baptist Church, on Saturday at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow at Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
