Joean Rachell

Joean “Mitzi” Rachell, 78 years old of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018, with her family by her side at her grandsons’ home in Tickfaw. She was born on Sunday, March 3, 1940, in Calumet, Wisconsin to Erwin and Esther Jensen Schussman. Mitzi enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family.

Mitzi is survived by her daughter Dawn Wiltberger and her husband Jon II, her grandson, Jon Wiltberger III and his wife Deondra, her granddaughter, Ashlee Wiltberger, her grandson, Daniel S. Wiltberger and his wife Sarah and her grandson, Noel Lynn Rachell, Jr. and his wife Tiffany, 7 great grandchildren, her sister, Carolyn Wentworth and her husband Jeff, her niece Kristen and her nephew Jason also many other nieces, nephews and close friends.

Mitzi is preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Esther Jensen Schussman, her sons, Noel Lynn Rachell, Sr. and Joel “Jody” Lee Rachell, her sister Ellen and her brother Milton “Sonny” Schussman.

There are no services are scheduled at this time.
