Joan "Jo" M. Pizzolato

Joan "Jo" M. Pizzolato, 86 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at home with her family by her side.

She was born on Wednesday, June 4, 1930, in Hahnville, Louisiana to Raymond and Emily Madere. Jo enjoyed life and loved gardening, cooking and shopping but especially loved spending time with her family.

Jo is survived by her daughters, Gina Pizzolato and her wife Jennifer and Monica Threeton and her husband John, her grandchildren, Shey Griffith and his wife Brandi, Shanie Dickens and her husband Johnny, Kayla Threeton and Monique Threeton, her great grandchildren, Sydni Griffith, Kennedy Griffith, Peyton Dickens and Brant Dickens.

She is preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Emily Madere, husband, Anthony Pizzolato.

A Visitation for Jo will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula .

A Funeral Service Celebrating Jo's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
