Jimmy Ray "King" Boyd Jr.

Jimmy Ray "King" Boyd Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 47.  He was born on Friday, January 3, 1975  to the late Freda and the late Jimmy Boyd Sr.  He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Jimmy never met a stranger. He loved his family, friends and living his life to the fullest. Jimmy worked as a poker dealer and loved to play the game himself. He loved slot car racing, drag racing, riding around in his golf cart and "Big Red", his truck. Jimmy loved to play darts and pool. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jennifer Boyd, his furbabies, Scooter, Gracie and Sophie, sister, Ronda  Heisler and her children, Elizabeth and Freda Heisler, his great-niece, Kynlee Johnson, mother and father-in-law, Karen and Joseph Wale, brother-in-law, Richard Wale (Sandy) and their children, Cameron Perrin and Jaxon Wale, brother-in-law, Christopher Wale (Ashley) and her child Grayson Brown. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freda and Jimmy Boyd, Sr., brother, Tony  Boyd; his furbaby, Breesy; as well as his grandparents.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond   , 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 12:30 pm.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery - Tylertown, MS.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home on behalf of the family.
